Cliff gets up on stage, makes fun of himself, and has a good time with the girls. He is the camp’s silly, but serious, figure head and father-figure. The girls know Cliff cares about them and is always willing to take the time to listen.
It’s important to provide a safe place for children.
Cliff Lissner
As a former nationally licensed Emergency Medical Technician with paramedic training, he has always made the safety and well being of Chippewa’s campers priority number one. Cliff is an industry leader on the subject of health, safety, and risk management.
Cliff is Chair of the Camp Owners & Directors Association’s annual national conference (CODACON), and he currently serves on the organization’s board as its Mid-America Representative. He also sits on the board of the Midwest Association of Independent Camps. He formerly served on the American Camp Association (ACA) Mid States Conference planning committee, and on the ACA National Conference program review team.
During the school year, Cliff enjoys spending time with Lisa, their two girls, and their three dogs.
Prior to Chippewa, Cliff spent 11 years at North Star Camp for Boys.
