Taylor Gichner

8th Summer

My name is Taylor Gichner but people at camp call me Gich. This year will be my 8th summer at Chippewa. I am from Northbrook, IL and am currently a sophomore at Glenbrook North High School. Outside of camp I like to play soccer. One thing not a lot of people know about me is that my dog can sing!

This summer at camp I hope to be teaching skiing, plus other activities in the lake! I like teaching skiing because I love to ski myself and I would love to help people improve! My favorite camp meal is chicken fingers and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is Pirate’s Bounty. My favorite Evening Program is Lip Sync because seeing all the dances and dancing at Chippewa is the best! I love being a Chippy because everyone is accepting and I am always comfortable being myself! I am most excited for the summer of 2025 because I get to spend it in my favorite place!
