Summer Klee

8th Summer

My name is Summer and this year will be my 8th summer at Chippewa. I am from Highland Park, IL and am currently a sophomore at Highland Park High School. Outside of camp, I like to go to Core Power and play field hockey. One thing not a lot of people know about me is that I have a frog.

This summer at camp, I will be teaching sailing and swimming. I like teaching these activities because these are my favorite activities. My favorite camp meal is Sunday breakfast and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is Jolted Cow. Tan & White is my favorite Evening Program because I love how competitive everybody gets and seeing everyone work together is so fun. I love being a Chippy because I have created the best memories that I will remember forever. I am most excited for the summer of 2026 because I get to experience what it’s like to be a counselor and see my best friends.
