Stella Shlifka

7th Summer

My name is Stella and this year will be my 7th summer at Chippewa. I am from Deerfield, IL and am currently a sophomore at Deerfield High School. Outside of camp, I like to spend time with my friends and play tennis. One thing not a lot of people know about me is that I was on the cover of a magazine when I was a baby.

My favorite camp meal is Grilled Cheese and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is Cake and Ice Cream. Lip Sync is my favorite Evening Program because it is so fun to perform with your cabin and watch all of the other dances. I love being a Chippy because I have met some of my closest friends at camp and we get to spend our summers together. I am most excited for the summer of 2025 because it will be my first summer working at camp and I can’t wait to spend time with my friends and my campers.
