Scout Kosner

10th Summer!

My name is Scout and this year will be my TENTH summer at Chippewa. I am from Highland Park, IL and am currently a student at Highland Park High School. Outside of camp, I am involved with HPHS Field Hockey and I volunteer at Border Tails Dog Shelter. One thing not a lot of people know about me is that I can speak French.

This summer at camp, I will be teaching fishing and arts & crafts. I like teaching these activities because I love art so much and I love fishies, too. Also, I’m good at putting the worm on the hook! My favorite camp meal is paninis and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle. Lip Sync is my favorite Evening Program because I love watching my campers perform!! I love being a Chippy because being a Chippy has shaped me into who I am today. The morals that are taught at Chippewa make me a better person. I am most excited for the summer of 2026 because it’s gonna be the best summer yet… I can just feel it. Also, it’s my Ten Year!
