Sara Margolis

13th Summer

My name is Sara and this will be my 13th summer at Chippewa. I am currently a 2nd grade teacher at a Jewish Day School in Chicago. Outside of camp and school, I love spending time with my family and friends! One thing that not a lot of people know about me is that I am really good at sudoku.

This summer at camp, I will be teaching down on the waterfront. My favorite camp meal is BBQ and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is Pirate’s Booty. I love all Tan & White games because it is always so fun but competitive in the best way. I also really enjoy cheering with my campers in the Mess Hall during meals before the games. I love being a Chippy because I love being at camp and having a break from the real world with my best friends and my campers. I am most excited for the summer of 2024 because I will be able to spend my summer in my favorite place with the best people!
