8th Summer

Hi my name is Quinn and this year will be my 8th summer at Chippewa. I am from Highland Park, Illinois and am currently a Junior at Highland Park High School. Outside of camp, I like to dance and am on my school’s Poms team. One thing not a lot of people know about me is I don’t like to travel!

This summer at camp, I will be teaching waterskiing and swimming. I like teaching these activities because I love the lakefront and love watching campers progress in different ways. My favorite camp meal picnic and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is White Chocalate Raspberry Truffle. Friday Night Camfire is my favorite evening activity because it gives time to pause and reflect after a packed week. I love being a Chippy because I know I will always be accepted for my authentic self. I am most excited for the summer of 2026 because i’m stepping into a new role as a full counselor!
