3rd Summer

My name is Emily and this year will be my 3rd summer at Chippewa. I am from Cardiff in the United Kingdom, but am currently living in Alberta, Canada working as a barista and spending my days off skiing! Outside of camp, I like to ski, draw and read. One thing not a lot of people know about me is that I am hyper mobile and can do the splits!

This summer at camp, I will be organising the trips! Arguably the best part of camp, I love that the trips get the girls out in the wild and really experiencing how beautiful this world is! Last summer I got to see Lake Superior for the first time and it was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. My favorite camp meal is stir fry and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is Jolted Cow. Lip Sync is my favorite Evening Program because seeing the girls having some competitive fun is the best! I love being a Chippy because I get to be 100% myself whilst also being in the best place in the world. I am most excited for the summer of 2024 because I get to see my Chippewa family and get to spend 8 weeks having the best time and hopefully creating a meaningful impact and a lifetime of memories!
