Mia Gellis

8th Summer

My name is Mia but people at camp call me Mimi. This year will be my 8th summer at Chippewa. I am from Cleveland, Ohio and am currently a student at Hawken Upper School. Outside of camp, I spend time photographing and videographing sports teams. One thing not a lot of people know about me is that my first year at Chippewa, I was only 7 years old.

My favorite camp meal is ’dillas and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is Superman. Capture the Flag is my favorite Evening Program because I think I’m really good at it :). I love being a Chippy because camp is the most inviting and friendly summer experience with the best people. I am most excited for the summer of 2025 because summers at Chippewa are always a blast!
