Maddyn Cohen

8th Summer

My name is Maddyn and this year will be my 8th summer at Chippewa. I am from Highland Park, IL and am currently junior at Highland Park High School. Outside of camp, I am involved with the gymnastics and diving teams. One thing not a lot of people know about me is I know how to snowboard.

This summer at camp, I will be teaching waterskiing! I like teaching this activity because ever since my first summer at camp I have loved skiing and it came very naturally. My favorite camp meal is chicken nuggets and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is Pirate’s Booty. Lip Sync is my favorite Evening Program because it is so fun to watch. I love being a Chippy because I can be myself without judgement. I am most excited for the summer of 2025 because I can not wait to continue forming connections with old and new campers!
