Maddie Kashy

8th Summer

My name is Maddie and this year will be my 8th summer at Chippewa. I am from Highland Park, IL and am currently a student at Highland Park High School. Outside of camp, I like to play field hockey and lacrosse. I also enjoy spending time with friends and family. One thing not a lot of people know about me is that 7 is my lucky number.

This summer at camp, I will be teaching skiing and sailing. I like teaching these activities because I get to connect with kids of all ages while doing something I am passionate about. My favorite camp meal is BBQ and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is Brownie S’more. Capture the Flag is my favorite Evening Activity because I love the competitive nature that is brought out within the camp. I love being a Chippy because of all of the friendships I have created. I am most excited for the summer of 2025 because I get to be back with my campers and friends.
