Maddie Kashy

7th Summer

My name is Maddie and this year will be my 7th summer at Chippewa. I am from Highland Park, IL and am currently a sophomore at Highland Park High School. Outside of camp, I like to play gymnastics, field hockey, and lacrosse.

This summer at camp, I will be teaching sailing. I like teaching this activity because I love hanging out with my friends on the boats, teaching people new skills, and watching them develop as sailors. My favorite camp meal is BBQ and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is Brownie S’more. Tan & White is my favorite Evening Program because I love how competitive and fun it is. I love being a Chippy because of the relationships I have created with people of all ages. I am most excited for the summer of 2024 because I get to connect with new campers and take on a new leadership role.
