Lucy Wurster

7th Summer

My name is Lucy and this year will be my 7th summer at Chippewa. I am from Highland Park, Illinois and am currently a Junior at Highland Park High School. Outside of camp, I love to dance and hang out with my friends. One thing not a lot of people know about me is that I used to be an ice skater!

This summer at camp, I will be teaching waterskiing and swimming. I like teaching these activities because they were always my favorite as a camper! My favorite camp meal is chicken fingers and fries and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is White Choc Raspberry Truffle. Tan & White is my favorite Evening Program because it’s so fun to participate in and watch now as a staff member! I love being a Chippy because I get to be with my best friends at my favorite place summer after summer. I am most excited for the summer of 2026 because I get to spend time at my favorite place.
