Lucy Wurster

6th Summer

My name is Lucy and this year will be my 6th summer at Chippewa. I am from Highland Park, IL and am currently a sophomore at Highland Park High School. Outside of camp, I like to dance and spend time with friends and family. One thing not a lot of people know about me is my real name is Lucille!

This summer at camp, I hope to teach waterskiing. I hope to teach this activity because as a camper, skiing was my favorite activity and I want to make that experience fun for other young campers. My favorite camp meal is chicken fingers & fries and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle. Lip Sync is my favorite Evening Program because I love spending time with my friends and dancing while being competitive. I love being a Chippy because I get to do things I would have never experienced at home, and do things out of my comfort zone. I am most excited for the summer of 2025 because I get to enjoy camp from a new perspective.
