2nd Summer

My name is Lucy and this year will be my 2nd summer at Chippewa. I am from England and am currently a university student at Oxford Brooke’s. Outside of camp, I like to teach netball in my free time. One thing not a lot of people know about me is I have a horse called Tennessee.

This summer at camp, I will be teaching horseback riding. I like teaching this activity because it allows me to combine my passion for horses and helping others improve. My favorite camp meal is Chinese food and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is French Silk Pie. Counselor Hunt is my favorite Evening Program because I love seeing the inventive ways to hide counselors come up with. I love being a Chippy because it’s full of horses and friends- what’s not to love? I am most excited for the summer of 2026 because I love camp life, the horses and making memories that last.
