8th Summer

My name is Avery and this year will be my 8th summer at Chippewa. I am from Highland Park, Illinois and am currently a Junior at Highland Park High School. Outside of camp, I like to hang with my friends and family and I am involved with many clubs through my school. One thing not a lot of people know about me is that I am obsessed with my dog.

This summer at camp, I will be teaching skiing, sailing, and swimming. I like teaching these activities because the waterfront is my favorite place to be at camp. My favorite camp meal is paninis and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is Pirate’s Booty. Tan and White is my favorite Evening Program because every game is so much fun to participate in. I love being a Chippy because I get to spend my summers with my best friends and make so many memories!!!! I am most excited for the summer of 2024 because I get to spend the best summer with my campers and friends!!
