10th Summer!

My name is Avery and this year will be my 10th summer at Chippewa!!! I am from Highland Park, IL and am currently a Freshman at The Ohio State University. Outside of camp, I like to hang out with my friends and family. One thing not a lot of people know about me is I love musicals.

This summer at camp, I will be teaching waterskiing and sailing. I like teaching these activities because the waterfront is my favorite place to be! My favorite camp meal is paninis and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is Pirate’s Booty. Lip Sync is my favorite Evening Program because I love watching my campers’ hard work come to life on stage! I love being a Chippy because I get to make endless memories with my age group and campers! I am most excited for the summer of 2026 because I get to spend the summer at the best place on Earth with my best friends!
