8th Summer

My name is Lily and this year will be my 8th summer at Chippewa. I am from Highland Park, IL and am currently a student at Highland Park High School. Outside of camp, I like to play lacrosse and hang out with my friends and family. One thing not a lot of people know about me is I love to travel.

This summer at camp, I will be teaching sailing. I like teaching this activity because many of my best memories are from sailing, and I love to be by the lake. My favorite camp meal is paninis and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is Pirate’s Booty. Lip Sync is my favorite Evening Program because I love to watch all the creative dances everyone comes up with, and see their hard work pay off. I love being a Chippy because I am surrounded by the most loving and supportive community constantly. I am most excited for the summer of 2025 because I can’t wait to be back with all of my friends in the best place.
