My name is Lexi and this year will be my 10th summer at Chippewa. I am from Highland Park, IL and am currently at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. I am majoring in Political Science, and hope to work in the field of social justice. Outside of camp, I enjoy staying active, spending time outdoors and running around with my dogs. Additionally, I love spending time with my family and friends- whether we are watching a movie or driving around, it is always so fun! One thing not a lot of people know about me is I was born with a hole in my heart.
This summer at camp, I will be teaching waterskiing, fishing and land sports! I like teaching these activities because I love watching campers persevere and grow as individuals! My favorite camp meal is the breakfast cereal bar and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is raspberry sorbet (I am dairy free!). Capture the Flag is my favorite Evening Program because I love the competition, and Tan & White is something I look forward to every year. I love being a Chippy because I get to be myself and know that I will not be judged. At camp I am truly my happiest version of myself and I get to spend everyday surrounded by the loving Chippewa community. I’m thrilled to meet all the new campers and continue to grow bonds with people of all ages! I can’t wait for this summer!!
