Laney Kabaker

8th Summer

My name is Laney and this year will be my 8th summer at Chippewa. I am from New York City and am currently a student at Fieldston. Outside of camp, I like to play tennis. One thing not a lot of people know about me is that I love to read.

This summer at camp, I will be teaching waterskiing. I like teaching this activity because I want to help all campers pass as many levels as possible. My favorite camp meal is chicken fingers and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is Pirate’s Booty. Tan & White is my favorite Evening Program because it is so fun. I love being a Chippy because I am surrounded by the most amazing girls. I am most excited for the summer of 2026 because I get to spend more time with the people I love most!
