Katie Manaster

7th Summer

My name is Katie and this year will be my 7th summer at Chippewa. I am from Highland Park, IL and am currently a sophomore at Highland Park High School. Outside of camp, I play field hockey and lacrosse. One thing not a lot of people know about me is that I was born in Arizona.

This summer at camp, I hope to be teaching waterskiing and sailing. I want teach these activity because I want to teach the younger campers some of my favorite activities. My favorite camp meal is quesadillas and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is Pirate’s Booty! Tan & White is my favorite Evening Program because I love the competitive spirit! I love being a Chippy because Chippewa is where I met all my best friends! I am most excited for the summer of 2025 because I’m going to be back at my favorite place with all my all my favorite people!
