JP Esquivel

3rd Summer

My name is José Pablo, but at camp they call me JP. This year will be my 3rd summer at Chippewa. I’m from Mexico and I’m currently studying industrial engineering (I’m in my 5th semester). Outside of camp, I am involved with many sports. One thing not a lot of people know about me is that I really like dogs, but I don’t have one.

My favorite camp meal is chicken tenders, and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is Lemon Bar. Realm is my favorite Evening Program because I love how magical camp becomes. I love being a Chippy because Chippewa has given me lifelong friendships. I am most excited for the summer of 2025 because I’ll be meeting new people and seeing my friends.
