Jorge Colubi

2nd Summer

My name is Jorge but people at camp call me Horhay. This year will be my second summer at Chippewa. I am from Spain and am currently a student at MEDAC. One thing not a lot of people know about me is that I love sweets, all kinds!

This summer at camp, I will be teaching wall and ropes, maybe even some kayaking. I like teaching these activities because I love climbing and waterfront sports, and I enjoy teaching them. My favorite camp meal is curly fries and fried chicken, and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is the one with the s’mores in it. Cathy’s is my favorite Evening Program because I love Cathy’s- yummy. I love being a Chippy because of the strong community. I am most excited for the summer of 2026 because I will get to see my friends again.
