Jordyn Katz

8th Summer

My name is Jordyn and this year will be my 8th summer at Chippewa. I am from Highland Park, IL and am currently a student at Highland Park High School. Outside of camp, I like to dance. One thing not a lot of people know about me is that I love country music!

This summer at camp, I will be teaching fishing. I like teaching this activity because some of my best camp memories were made during fishing. My favorite camp meal is Chinese food and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is French Silk Pie. Songfest is my favorite Evening Program because I love seeing all of the hard work that both the Tan and White teams put into it. I love being a Chippy because I am constantly surrounded by the most amazing people. I am most excited for the summer of 2025 because I can’t wait to be back with my campers!
