Jillian Wernick

6th Summer

My name is Jillian and this year will be my 6th summer at Chippewa. I am from Highland Park, IL and am currently a sophomore at Highland Park High School. Outside of camp, I like to play lacrosse and tennis. One thing not a lot of people know about me is that I’m on the HPHS tennis team.

This summer at camp, I will be teaching sailing and waterskiing. I like teaching these activities because the lake is my favorite part of camp and those are two of my favorite activities. My favorite camp meal is BBQ and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is Pirate’s Booty. Any Tan & White game is my favorite Evening Program because Tan & White is my absolute favorite. I love being a Chippy because camp has such an amazing environment and I love being a part of such an inclusive community. I am most excited for the summer of 2024 because I am a CIT this summer and I get to run Tan & White and have campers!
