9th Summer

My name is Emma and this year will be my 9th summer at Chippewa. I am from Deerfield, IL and am currently a senior at Deerfield High School. Outside of camp, I like to hang out with my friends and family. One thing not a lot of people know about me is that I like to bake.

This summer at camp, I will be teaching waterskiing. I like teaching waterskiing because it’s so much fun to do and to watch! My favorite camp meal is grilled cheese and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is Pirate’s Booty. Tan & White is my favorite Evening Program because people are passionate about it and the variety of games are super exciting! I love being a Chippy because of the friendships and opportunities at camp. I am most excited for the summer of 2024 because I miss the camp environment, my camp friends, my campers, and the activities!
