Ellie Wise

12th Summer

My name is Ellie and this year will be my 12th summer at Chippewa. I am from Northbrook, IL and am currently a senior at Tulane University. Outside of camp, I like to listen to live music and explore New Orleans. One thing not a lot of people know about me is that I studied abroad in Copenhagen!

This summer at camp, I will be teaching waterskiing. I like teaching this activity because I enjoy the time on the boats I get to spend with each camper. My favorite camp meal is BBQ and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is Pirate’s Booty. Songfest is my favorite Evening Program because it is exciting to see the whole camp come together and watch everyone’s hard work pay off. I love being a Chippy because of the community filled with amazing campers and staff that Chippewa has given me. I am most excited for the summer of 2024 because to be back in my happy place with all of my favorite people!
