Ella Raff

7th Summer

My name is Ella and this year will be my 7th summer at Chippewa. I am from Highland Park, IL, and am currently a sophomore at Highland Park High School. Outside of camp, I like to play lacrosse and hang out with my friends! One thing not a lot of people know about me is that my dog’s middle name is Chippy!!

This summer at camp, I hope to be teaching sailing and swimming. I love these activities because it’s so fun to be out on the sailboats on a windy day and to be playing games with friends during swimming! My favorite camp meal is Sunday morning breakfast and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle! Tan & White is my favorite Evening Program because I love the spirit everyone has for their team and the competitiveness of the games! I love being a Chippy because I can be my true self with no judgement, step out of my comfort zone and try new things, and have the best time ever with all of my friends! I am most excited for the summer of 2025 because I can’t wait to be out on Dam Lake again and to be back in the most amazing and supportive community!
