Chelsea Martin

10th Summer!

My name is Chelsea but people at camp sometimes call me Chels or Chels-a. This will be my 10th summer at Chippewa! I am from Deerfield, IL and currently a student at the University of Colorado Boulder. Outside of camp, I love to play field hockey, hang out with friends and family, and am involved in school clubs. One thing not a lot of people know about me is that I love to paint.

This summer at camp, I will be driving the ski boats! I love driving skiers because watching campers become filled with joy as they hop on my boat puts a huge smile on my face. I also love to watch campers learn and grow on skis. My favorite camp meal is Sunday Breakfast and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is Jolted Cow. Tan & White Lip Sync is my favorite Evening Program because it is awesome to see what each team has come up with to share. I love being a Chippy because I have met so many amazing friends and can always be myself at camp. I am most excited for the summer of 2024 because I absolutely love being a counselor and I can’t wait to finally be back with all my best friends again!
