Charlie Solganik

7th Summer

My name is Charlie and this year will be my 7th summer at Chippewa. I am from Cleveland, Ohio and am currently a student at Hawken High School. Outside of camp, I play field hockey and lacrosse, and I am a student athletic trainer. One thing not a lot of people know about me is that I love to read.

This summer at camp, I will be teaching waterskiing. I like teaching this activity because I love to ski and want to help others learn how to and improve. My favorite camp meal is stirfry and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is Caramel Collision. Lip Sync is my favorite Evening Program because I love to watch cabins come together and just have fun on stage. It’s not something you get to do every day! I love being a Chippy because camp is where I met my lifelong best friends and it is a community that you can’t find anywhere else. I am most excited for the summer of 2024 because I can’t wait to be back at camp and have campers of my own!
