Charlie Solganik

8th Summer

My name is Charlie and this year will be my 8th summer at Chippewa. I am from Cleveland, Ohio and am currently a senior at Hawken High School. Outside of camp, I like to play field hockey and lacrosse. One thing not a lot of people know about me is that my mom also went to Chippewa.

This summer at camp, I will be teaching waterskiing. I like teaching this activity because I first learned how to ski at camp and then became a Chippy Bat! My favorite camp meal is quesadillas and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is Brownie S’mores. Tan & White is my favorite Evening Program because it’s so fun to see everyone get so excited. I love being a Chippy because camp is where I met my forever best friends! I am most excited for the summer of 2026 because I can’t wait to make even more connections with campers.
