Cayla Boehm

9th Summer

My name is Cayla and this year will be my 9th summer at Chippewa. I am from Highland Park, IL and am currently a student at Highland Park High School. Outside of camp, I like to babysit, do volunteer work, and hang out with my friends. One thing not a lot of people know about me is I love to play pickle ball!

This summer at camp, I will be teaching running. I like teaching this activity because running was one of my favorite activities as a camper. My favorite camp meal is chicken fingers and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is French Silk Pie. Tan & White is my favorite Evening Program because I love the competitive spirit between the campers. I love being a Chippy because Chippewa has given me the opportunity to create lifelong friendships and allows me to go outside of my comfort zone. I am most excited for the summer of 2025 because I can’t wait to continue making stronger connections with my campers.
