10th Summer!

My name is Mia and this year will be my 10th summer at Chippewa!! I am from Deerfield, IL and am currently a freshman at Emory University. Outside of camp, I like to dance and run. One thing not a lot of people know about me is I am a huge Broadway musical fan.

This summer at camp, I will be teaching waterskiing and sailing (and Realm 😝). I like teaching these activities because they were my favorite activities as a camper and I get to be on the waterfront. My favorite camp meal is paninis and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is Brownie S’more. Lip Sync is my favorite Evening Program because I love to dance and watch all the campers’ hard work pay off. I love being a Chippy because I can be my most authentic self and teach others to do the same. I am most excited for the summer of 2026 because it is my 10th summer and I will get to drive a lot of people skiing!!
