Bego Gomez

4th Summer

My name is Bego but people at camp call me Begs or Bagel. This year will be my 4th summer at Chippewa. I am from Mexico and am currently a student at Ibero. Outside of camp, I like to play padel. One thing not a lot of people know about me is that I like to write.

This summer at camp, I will be teaching tennis and wall & ropes. I like teaching these activities because I love to climb the wall. My favorite camp meal is BBQ ribs and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is Brownie S’mores. Staff Show is my favorite Evening Program because I love to participate. I love being a Chippy because it’s incredible how much you care and love every single person in camp. I am most excited for the summer of 2026 because I want to see my campers, co-counselors and friends again!
