7th Summer

My name is Avery and this year will be my 7th summer at Chippewa. I am from Deerfield, IL and am currently a sophomore at Deerfield High School. Outside of camp, I play soccer and tennis and like to read and hang out with my friends. One thing not a lot of people know about me is I’ve never had a pet in my life, but if I could have one, I would have a dog.

This summer at camp, I will be teaching waterskiing. I like teaching this activity because waterskiing was my favorite activity as a camper and I am a Chippy Bat. My favorite camp meal is BBQ and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle. Tan & White is my favorite Evening Program because I love the White team!! I love being a Chippy because of the amazing community and all the fun memories I have at camp. I am most excited for the summer of 2022 because I am excited to run Tan & White and have campers of my own!
