Ava Gaddini

7th Summer

My name is Ava but people at camp call me Genie. This year will be my 7th summer at Chippewa. I am from Highland Park, IL and am currently a senior at Highland Park High School. Outside of camp, I like to play soccer and field hockey. One thing not a lot of people know about me is that I am fluent in Spanish.

This summer at camp, I will be teaching fishing. I like teaching this activity because it is super fun and I enjoy doing it. My favorite camp meal is BBQ and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle. Tan & White is my favorite Evening Program because I love being a part of the Tan team, and I have so much fun. I love being a Chippy because Chippewa is my favorite place on Earth. I am most excited for the summer of 2024 because I can’t wait to have campers of my own and to be back at my favorite place ever!!
