Annie Manaster

8th Summer

My name is Annie and this year will be my 8th summer at Chippewa. I am from Highland Park, IL and am currently a student at Highland Park High School. Outside of camp, I like play field hockey and soccer. One thing not a lot of people know about me is that I was born in Arizona.

This summer at camp, I will be teaching waterskiing and sailing. I like teaching these activities because they were my favorite activities as a camper and I want to spread my love for them to other campers! My favorite camp meal is paninis and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is French Silk Pie. Lip Sync is my favorite Evening Program becayse I loved being on stage dancing my heart out with my cabin and it makes me so happy to watch my campers as they get to make the same amazing memories. I also love Capture the Flag because I love the spirit and energy that game brings out in everyone. I love being a Chippy because of the amazing community I get to be a part of and come back to every summer. I am most excited for the summer of 2024 because it’s going to be the best summer ever!
