Annabel Roach

2nd Summer

My name is Annabel and this year will be my 2nd summer at Chippewa. I am from Australia and work as a Lifeguard and Fitness Instructor. Outside of camp I enjoy going for long runs, play tennis and field hockey, and spend time with friends and family. One thing not a lot of people know about me is that I love adventure and adrenaline activities.

This summer at camp I will be a kayaking instructor and will also be teaching wall & ropes. My favourite camp meal is anything pasta and my favourite Cathy’s flavour is Mac Island Fudge. Staff Capture the Flag is my favourite Evening Program because I enjoy the competition and interaction with all the staff and campers. I love being a Chippy because I have made friends that I will have for life and look forward to making more Chippy friends this year. I am most excited for the summer of 2025 because I love learning new things like water-skiing and horse riding. I enjoy watching the campers enjoy their everyday activities and make their own lifelong friends!
