Amari Schneider

9th Summer

My Name is Amari and this will be my 9th summer at Chippewa. I am from Nashville, TN and am currently a sophomore at Harpeth Hall. Outside of camp, I am a member of the swim and hockey teams and love hanging out with my friends. One thing not a lot of people know about me is that I was born in Florida.

This summer at camp, I will be teaching sailing. I like teaching this activity because I love to be out on the lake with my friends. My favorite camp meal is chicken tenders and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is Raspberry Sorbet. Tan & White is my favorite Evening Program because I love seeing the whole team work together and I am super spirited (Go White!!). I love being a Chippy because I get to spend my summers with all of my best friends. I am most excited for the summer of 2024 because I cannot wait to have campers!
