8th Summer

My name is Alexa and this year will be my 8th summer at Chippewa. I am from New York City and am currently a student at Avenues High School. Outside of camp, I do gymnastics and love to spend time with my family and friends. One thing not a lot of people know about me is that I am fluent in spanish.

This summer at camp, I will be teaching waterskiing and swimming. I like teaching these activities because they were my favorites as a camper and I love watching people improve in them! My favorite camp meal is chicken nuggets & fries and my favorite Cathy’s flavor is White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle. Tan & White is my favorite Evening Program because I love playing all the different games and the competitive spirit. I love being a Chippy because camp has given me a place to constantly look forward to and where I have found my best friends. I am most excited for the summer of 2026 because I can’t wait to be back at my favorite place with the best people for the best summer ever!!!
