Everything Matters Moments
-During swimming fifth period, a number of the Timber Walk, A-Frame and Horseshoe campers chose to go in the lake. It was cold but they told me the water felt good and they enjoyed their time in Dam Lake. They were also very excited to share that they went deep diving and found five bracelets at the bottom of the swim area…kind of impressive! I just love that these twelve year-old campers chose to go into Dam Lake on a day like this…they are really making the most of it because they know that every moment matters!
-After dinner, Soph-Aloaf and I were on a stroll in the South Field. Campers walking with us had A LOT of energy and were highly entertaining. Specifically, Isla H and Maeve B (Silverspurs) had something they needed to show us…like urgently. Apparently they found a “goat’s hoof” hanging on a tree behind the South Field backstop. Truth be told, I have no idea what it actually is but they are 100% convinced that this goat hoof just appeared…out of nowhere. And we went with it- it was pretty cute!

And that’s the story from #TheRanch2026. Another amazing day filled with love, laughter, fun…and I’m sure a bit of growth built in there . Thanks for reading- have a great night!

Happy Camping and Love,
Sari
