Dear Chippies, Parents, Family and Friends,

I am back to the traditional format after a special Ten Year TSD edition last night. Today was one of our last regular days of the summer…not sure how that is possible but it’s true. In good news, today absolutely killed it. The energy was high, every single Chippy was beyond excited to participate in activities, and achievements were plentiful. We made every moment matter from wake-up to bedtime- #TheRanch2026 had another special day!

Our Day at CRC
-Morning Wake-Up with a Realm Seven Wonders Quiz!
-Breakfast- Biscuits, Scrambled Eggs & Turkey Sausage.
-Cabin Clean-Up- Congrats to Copper Stripes for their perfect score!
-1st & 2nd Period B-Day Activities!
-Lunch- Chicken Fingers & Fries.
-3rd, 4th & 5th Period B-Day Activities!
-Dinner- BBQ & Rice Krispie Treats!
-Menominee Color Run- We headed to Camp Menominee in white t-shirts and came back from Menominee doused in color! We ran, we danced, we snacked, we hung out with our Menominee friends & family, and most importantly we had fun!

Everything Matters Moments
-At breakfast this morning, the cabin of Blackfoot was in costume…they looked cute and had huge smiles on their faces…kind of glee meets devious type of smiles. Fear not though, they were simply feeling very pleased with themselves. They woke up early to have a cabin talent show before breakfast…and they had a blast. I mean why not have an additional talent show for your cabin and wear your costumes to breakfast?! Rumor has it, wearing costumes to breakfast was on their Cabin Bucket List…check!
-As I walked by the Center Fire Circle this morning, my ears were happy to hear to Sadie S, Sammi S & Jenna W (Lakeview) strumming their guitars. These three have been working hard to master a song (Night Changes) and we are hopeful that they three of them along with Peyton S (also in Lakeview) will share their talents with us at an upcoming campfire. Guitar at CRC is a little bit niche- we don’t have so many campers that sign-up for it, but the ones that do really dig in…they learn and hone a skill that is pretty unique, and they learn an appreciation for music that may not come so naturally to everybody. I love that this crew has decided that this is a path they want to explore- they will remember their days playing guitar at the Center Fire Circle for a long time, that is for sure!
-Over the course of the last three days, campers have enrolled & participated in Realm School. They are learning and re-learning how to play Realm Season X, what their roles will be this summer, and getting hyped for the multi-day Realm extravaganza next week. Campers as young as Rafter^X and as old as Lakeview have been bopping around Chippyland excited to share their special positions, ask questions about what’s to come and investigate elements around camp that just may be related to the big game. Sydney S & Rees W (Horseshoe) stopped by the office in search of the Green Dragon (Drood) information from the Season VII Guidebook…they are committed to winning Realm. Realm is a game that unites camp and excites camp…it is a differentiator- something that the Chippewa campers love and something that they feel proud to understand and master.

It’s hard to believe that tomorrow is already Sunday. We are certainly not counting down the days but with each day that passes, it feels like we are sliding down a slippery slope. We have so much fun & action to come- there is zero doubt in my mind that the moments we have left will be cherished. Thanks for reading tonight!

Happy Camping and Love,
Sari
