-Tan & White Run Offs- Tans and Whites tested their speed to decide who will be on offense and who will be on defnese for tomorrow’s big Capture the Flag game!
-3rd, 4th & 5th Period Activities- We had fun, we continued working towards achieving our goals and we enjoyed all that CRC activities have to offer!
-The CRC Experience- We welcomed in twenty prospective Chippies and their families to give them a taste of Chippewa- our program, our culture, a Chippy BBQ and an amazing evening program!
-Dinner- BBQ & Rice Krispie Treats
-The Ranch Round-Up- This new evening program encompassed so much Chippy fun. Campers traveled with their age groups to make s’mores, use their creative brains, play dodgeball and enjoy a Chippy carnival, which included a foam machine, music and an inflatable obstacle course. The energy was high and both campers & staff were wayyyy into this program. The CRC Experience Campers and their big sisters had a blast living the Chippy life!

-Tatum R (Lucky-X) got up and around the lake on two skis!
-Nora C (Circle C) crossed the wakes on two skis!

Everything Matters Moments
-This morning Lexi B (Silverspurs) lost a tooth, which is quite an exciting happening at CRC. Gladys the tooth fairy will certainly visit her tonight. Lexi and her counselor, Sadie Graines, were excited showed me her lost tooth, which I loved. But even more exciting was their recent discovery that Sadie’s mom was Lexi’s mom’s counselor in Silverspurs…the same cabin that Sadie & Lexi are in…how cool?!
-As mentioned above, today was the start of the second annual CRC Experience. We welcomed twenty families into camp to share this special place. Twenty campers from Lakeview and Trailriders served as big sisters to these prospective campers and they truly showed them the very best time. These big and little sisters began with tours around camp, moved to a Chippy BBQ dinner, signed up for tomorrow’s activities and ended with participating together in the Ranch Round-Up (tonight’s evening program). The Chippy spirit and warmth that these older campers brought to this day and to their little sisters was extraordinary and truly made this experience fantastic. It was another day to be proud of our community- they care and they have pride in Chippewa…and they want to share it…we are so grateful!

As you have read, today was the bomb! Thanks for reading…talk to y’all soon!

Happy Camping and Love,
Sari
