Staff Spotlight- May 2026

Our May Staff Spotlight features Hope Feldman! Each summer, Hope brings an enthusiasm for camp that spreads to anyone around her. She cares deeply about her campers and is dedicated to helping everyone make the most of their time at camp. This summer, we are so excited to welcome Hope back for her 10th summer at Chippewa to continue making an impact on the CRC community. Thanks for all you bring to camp, Hope! Read below to learn a bit more about Hope’s camp experiences and life in the off-season.

How many summers have you been at camp?
I’ve been at camp for 9 summers!! This will be my 10th!!!

What cabin were you in during the summer of 2025?
C-C!

What is your favorite part about being a counselor at CRC?
I love how much my campers look up to me! It makes me feel so special. I also love getting inspiration from my campers because they’re all amazing!!

What was your favorite memory from the summer of 2025?
Being an advisor for Kahuna Day!! And my team won!!

What is your favorite camp memory of all time?
Our Mackinac trip in Lakeview. It was the best experience ever and I would relive it every day if I could.

How do you stay in touch with your camp friends during the year?
We text every single day!! Whether it’s small details about our day or big things, we always tell each other.

What do you do when you are not at camp?
love to dance, go on walks, and hang out with friends!!

What are you most excited about for the summer of 2026?
I’m looking forward to having more responsibility as a part of the Admin staff and coming up with new programs!!
