Copper Stripes.

How many summers have you been at camp?
This will be my 4th.

What do you love most about camp?
How you get to spend the whole summer with the people you love while doing fun activities.

What is your favorite memory from the summer of 2025?
When Sienna Z and I were doing MadLibs during rest hour and she misspoke and said “birdie bluey.” That has stuck with us and we laugh about it all the time!

How do you stay in touch with your camp friends during the year?
I text and call.

What is your favorite subject in school?
Social Studies!

You recently started a Helping Hands Club at your school. Can you share a little about what this is, the impact the club has had this year, and what inspired you to start this?

I originally started the club because I was driving to school each morning and kept seeing tents on the street and realized how lucky I am to be living in a house and driving to school in a car. I took action immediately and started a club which helps not just the unhoused, but animals and kids with cancer. We meet every week to discuss how possible these goals can be. First, we made bracelets and sold them to my school and donated the money to Chicago Lights. Then we made bookmarks and sold those, Gatorade and CapriSun and donated the money to PAWS. We are currently selling squishies, coasters and flowers for Dancing While Cancering (a kids cancer organization). We’ve raised over $1,000 for these organizations. I encourage everyone to take action and help the less fortunate because everyone has value and everyone should be able to see that value no matter who you are.

What activities do you participate in during the year?
Field Hockey, Dance and Soccer.

What are you most looking forward to in the summer of 2026?
Realm and hanging out with with my friends for the whole summer!

Is there anything else you want to share with your Chippy family?
I’m so excited to see you all! 🤩
