Staff Spotlight- January 2026

Our January Staff Spotlight features Annie Shulkin! Annie brings compassion, Chippy spirit, and a thoughtful energy to camp each summer. She cares deeply about those around her and her love of Chippewa is evident in all she does. Annie transitioned seamlessly into the role of counselor in 2025- we are so lucky to have Annie as a part of our staff team and are THRILLED that she will be back at camp in 2026. Read below to learn a bit more about Annie’s camp experiences and life in the off-season.

How many summers have you been at camp?
2026 will be my 8th summer!

What cabin were you in during the summer of 2025?
Wagon Ridge!

What is your favorite part about being a counselor at CRC?
I love being able to spread my love of camp onto my campers!

What was your favorite memory from the summer of 2025?
The CIT trip to the Wisconsin Dells!

What is your favorite camp memory of all time?
Planning the 4th of July when I was in Lakeview!

How do you stay in touch with your camp friends during the year?
I love to meet up with my camp friends at local places like Country Kitchen or Love’s, especially when my friends who don’t live in the area come in town!

What do you do when you are not at camp?
I am on the flag football team at my school!

What are you most excited about for the summer of 2026?
Being a counselor again and teaching activities!
