Camper Spotlight- January 2026

Our January Camper Spotlight features Lexi and Chloe! Lexi and Chloe are caring, fun and spirited members of the CRC community. In their first year at camp in 2025, Lexi and Chloe took advantage of every minute- making strong friendships, lasting memories and an impact on those around them. We love having Lexi and Chloe as a part of the Chippewa family and can’t wait to watch their love of camp grow in 2026 and beyond! Thanks for all you bring to CRC, Lexi and Chloe! Read below to learn more about Lexi and Chloe’s love of CRC and their life in the off-season.

What cabin were you in during the summer of 2025?
Lexi: Boots & Saddles!
Chloe: Blackfoot Trail!

How many summers have you been at camp?
Lexi and Chloe: 1 summer.

What do you love most about camp?
Lexi: I loved waterskiing and hanging out with my friends.
Chloe: I loved tubing with my friends. It was so fun!

What is your favorite memory from the summer of 2025?
Lexi: My favorite memories from camp are when I met new friends and counselors every day!
Chloe: My favorite memories are the Tan & White games!

How do you stay in touch with your camp friends during the year?
Lexi and Chloe: We call, text, and play Roblox. Also, some of them have come to Florida and we have gone to Chicago!

What is your favorite subject in school?
Lexi: Math and English.
Chloe: Science and Spanish.

What activities do you participate in during the year?
Lexi: Dance, volleyball, and cheer.
Chloe: Dance and tumbling.

What are you most looking forward to in the summer of 2026?
Lexi: I’m so excited for the summer of 2026! I can’t wait to see all of the campers and staff! I don’t get to see everyone much because we live in Florida.
Chloe: I can’t wait to see my friends and create memories with them! We’re looking forward to the Horseshoe social with our little brother too!
