Camper Spotlight- September 2025

Our September Camper Spotlight features Chloe and Penelope Z! Chloe and Penelope are kind and enthusiastic members of the CRC community. They each make the most of their time at camp and help make Chippewa a happier, more inclusive place. We love having Chloe and Penelope as a part of the Chippewa family and can’t wait to watch their love of camp continue to grow summer after summer! Read below to learn more about Chloe and Penelope’s love of CRC and their life in the off-season.

What cabin were you in during the summer of 2025?
Chloe: Timber Walk!
Penelope: Rafter^X!

How many summers have you been at camp?
Chloe: 4!
Penelope: 1!

What do you love most about camp?
Chloe: The people!
Penelope: There are so many things. I especially loved my counselors and making new friends. Cooking was also amazing!

What is your favorite memory from the summer of 2025?
Chloe: Realm because it changes every year and gets better and better.
Penelope: Realm. It was a really fun game!

How do you stay in touch with your camp friends during the year?
Chloe: We text and call. I am also looking forward to seeing my friends at Bat Mitzvahs this year.
Penelope: We talk on our Chippy Chat!

What is your favorite subject in school?
Chloe: History.
Penelope: Gym.

What activities do you participate in during the year?
Chloe: Dance and field hockey.
Penelope: Tennis, acting, dance, field hockey, basketball, softball and golf.

What are you most looking forward to in the summer of 2026?
Chloe and Penelope: Seeing our friends.
Penelope: And meeting new people!
