What Else Happened Today?!
-We had a full day of B Day activities, and they were awesome!

-I was very excited to be walking by the climbing wall just in time to see Maya S going down the zipline. She was all smiles as she was flying across the South Field!

-At trampball, I was quite impressed with the intense game that was going on. Shoutout to our Trampball Director, Ella Engelman, who has really brought the hype to trampball this summer.

-At swimming Scarlett L, Emma R, Neve F and Elle H did 620 bobs! That is insane…understandably, they were quite proud!

-During rest hour, the cabin of Boots & Saddles got serious with the game of jacks. The entire cabin is getting very good but Lexi K deserves special mention- she crushed it today!

-After 5th period, we had a Coin Ceremony. We all met at the Center Fire Circle and all first time campers received their Growth Coin. Additionally, Elle H was awarded the Leadership Coin for her leadership by example. She has really demonstrated great inclusivity and compassion throughout the first week of camp…way to go Elle!

-Rafter^X enjoyed an “undernighter” at the HNS backyard. Before dinner, they went back to the cabin to shower and get their PJs on. They then trekked over to the HNS to have a private BBQ dinner and s’mores. They sang, they danced and they bonded! It was a little bit of practice for their camping trip that will happen soon…they got to check out the space, help build the fire and practice roasting the perfect marshmallow!

-To end our wonderful day, we gathered in the North Field for Screen on the Green. We watched “Parent Trap,” ate some candy and even drank some soda! It was a very cute scene with campers cuddled up and chilling together. A big shoutout to Amelia F for majorly with the set-up of the evening and to Sydney B for her big time assist with the clean-up!

It an above average day at #TheRanch2025. Campers and staff across camp were having an impact on one another…doing kind things, encouraging one another, making each other laugh and connecting. We can’t wait for another outrageously fun day tomorrow…stay tuned for the details!

Happy Camping and Love,
Sari
