Staff Spotlight- April 2025

Our March Staff Spotlight features Cayla Boehm! Cayla is compassionate, hardworking, fun, and always willing to lend a hand. It is clear that she loves camp and cares deeply about improving the camp experience of those around her. Cayla stepped naturally into the role of being a counselor in 2024, and we are so excited that she will be back as a part of our #TheRanch2025 staff team! Read below to learn a bit more about Cayla’s camp experiences and life in the off-season.

How many summers have you been at camp?
8 summers.

What cabin were you in during the summer of 2024?
Blackfoot Trail!

What is your favorite part about being a counselor at CRC?
My favorite part about being a counselor is having the opportunity to show my campers what makes CRC so special just how my counselors did for me.

What was your favorite memory from the summer of 2024?
Planning and running Big & Little Sister Night!

What is your favorite camp memory of all time?
Going to Mackinac Island my Trailriders summer!

How do you stay in touch with your camp friends during the year?
I love to visit my camp friends and FaceTime them during the year.

What do you do when you are not at camp?
I love to play tennis and do volunteer work for my community.

What are you most excited about for the summer of 2025?
I am most looking forward to meeting and getting to know new campers and making stronger connections with returning campers!
