Staff Spotlight- February 2025

Our February Staff Spotlight features Mia Barnett! Mia is a compassionate, energetic and thoughtful member of our staff team. From her dedication to camp programs (hello Realm Dev Team!) to her enthusiastic dancing on stage, it is clear from all she does that she wants her campers to get the most out of their time at camp- and their growing love of CRC shows how big of an impact that has had! We love having Mia at camp and are thrilled that she will be back at #TheRanch2025! Read below to learn a bit more about Mia’s camp experiences and life in the off-season.

How many summers have you been at camp?
2025 will be my 9th!

What cabin were you in during the summer of 2024?
I was in Silverspurs.

What is your favorite part about being a counselor at CRC?
Making connections with campers and watching them fall in love with camp!

What was your favorite memory from the summer of 2024?
Counselor Hunt and dressing up in crazy camouflage costumes with my friends.

What is your favorite camp memory of all time?
UN Day my Lakeview summer- being a captain and winning with my team!

How do you stay in touch with your camp friends during the year?
My camp friends and I go to yoga classes together every Sunday morning! We also text all the time!

What do you do when you are not at camp?
I dance and hang out with my friends and family!

What are you most excited about for the summer of 2025?
I’m looking forward to being back at camp with my friends and campers! I am also really looking forward to Realm!
