Camper Spotlight- January 2025

Our January Camper Spotlight features Charlotte H! Charlotte is a friend to all who brings endless Chippy spirit to the camp environment. She has a contagious enthusiasm and is always ensuring that those around her are making the most of their time at CRC. Charlotte is also a proud third-generation Chippy whose love of camp is growing year after year! We love having you as a part of our Chippewa community, Charlotte! Read below to learn more about Charlotte’s love of CRC and her life in the off-season.

What cabin were you in during the summer of 2024?
Cactus Corral.

How many summers have you been at camp?
4 summers. 2025 will be my 5th!

What do you love most about camp?
I love seeing friends who don’t live in Illinois and all of the activities I cannot do at home like waterskiing, ropes, and tubing.

What is your favorite memory from the summer of 2024?
My favorite memories were the 4th of July and Realm.

How do you stay in touch with your camp friends during the year?
We text!

What is your favorite subject in school?
Recess… just kidding. Math!

What activities do you participate in during the year?
I play flag football and volleyball, and I dance.

What are you most looking forward to in the summer of 2025?
I’m most excited for that feeling when you first step off the bus… and I’m also excited for Realm 2025!

I’m so excited to make new memories with my Chippy family this summer!
