Staff Spotlight- September 2024

Our September Staff Spotlight features Samantha Daitch! Samantha is a longtime Chippy who was on staff for the first time in 2024, and she did a fantastic job looking out for her campers. She showed up with enthusiasm in her activities, in the cabin, and to programming around camp. She led with kindness and by example, and her campers had a better summer because of it! Thanks for all you bring to camp, Samantha! We are so lucky to have you as a part of the CRC community. Read below to learn a bit more about Samantha’s camp experiences and life in the off-season.

How many summers have you been at camp?
7 summers.

What cabin were you in during the summer of 2024?
Silverspurs!

What is your favorite part about being a counselor at CRC?
My favorite part about being a counselor is when I can witness a camper’s growth and watch them gain new confidence. I love being a part of a safe and supportive environment where everyone can make everlasting friendships and have fun!

What was your favorite memory from the summer of 2024?
My favorite memory from summer 2024 is participating in and planning all of the Tan & White games!

What is your favorite camp memory of all time?
My favorite camp memory of all time is the preparation for and the day of Fourth of July 2023!!

How do you stay in touch with your camp friends during the year?
Daily Facetime calls to update each other. And visits!

What do you do when you are not at camp?
At home, I play tennis, love to ski in the winter, and volunteer!

What are you most excited about for the summer of 2025?
I cannot wait to continue creating unforgettable memories!
