Our May Camper Spotlight features Summer K! Summer is a caring and empathetic member of the CRC community. She looks out for the camp experience of those around her, and her spirit and fun-loving energy adds enthusiasm to any situation. It is clear that Summer loves Chippewa- and we love having her at camp! You rock, Summer! Read below to learn more about Summer’s love of CRC and her life in the off-season.
What cabin were you in during the summer of 2023?
I was in Bowed Legs.
How many summers have you been at camp?
This summer is going to be my 6th year going to camp.
What do you love most about camp?
The thing I love most about camp is all of the fun Tan & White games, and making so many memories with my best friends.
What is your favorite memory from the summer of 2023?
My favorite memory from last summer was our camping trip. It ending up thunderstorming and we got to go to McDonald’s very late at night… it was so fun!
How do you stay in touch with your camp friends during the year?
During the holidays, my camp friends will come in town and we will hang out- or I will go to visit them.
What is your favorite subject in school?
My favorite subject in school is math.
What activities do you participate in during the year?
During the year, I play tennis.
What are you most looking forward to in the summer of 2024?
I’m looking forward to being in one cabin with all of my favorite people and making so many memories with them!
